The Tennessee State Independent Athletic Association is an association of small schools existing to assist member schools by providing leadership and coordination for the administration of interscholastic athletics, which will enhance the educational experiences of student-athletes. The Tennessee State Independent Athletic Association will promote participation and sportsmanship in developing good citizens through interscholastic athletics, which provide equitable opportunities, positive recognition and learning experiences to student-athletes while achieving their educational goals.​
